WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) is an extension of the HTTP protocol. It is a protocol that simplifies the management of files with remote servers. The main objective of WebDAV is to make it possible to write data over the Web in addition to reading data. WebDAV allows several users to edit the content of a web folder simultaneously.
