Forum

A computer service that allows public discussions between Internet users on a given topic, in the form of discussion threads or message threads. The forum can constitute a form of web site in its own right or can appear as one of the elements of a web site.

The forum allows Internet users to find an answer to a question they are asking by soliciting the knowledge of other Internet users. It also brings together Internet users wishing to share information, advice or opinions on the same passion. It imposes rules of good conduct and the respect of a charter. Moderators and/or administrators are in charge of its management and of the regulation of the comments which are diffused there.

On the technical level, the forum has the particularity of keeping and archiving the discussions, even when an Internet user is not connected to the Internet.
