The Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is a type of descriptive computer language. It is designed so that web page creators can format web pages by managing how their content will be displayed on a screen via the browser. This data format is based on a system of HTML tags that allow hypertext to be written in such a way as to title, subtitle, bold, etc., and to introduce multimedia resources such as images, links, and videos into the content.
