Keyword

A keyword (also known as a key term or combination of key terms) refers to the typical search terms that web users enter into a search engine to find information on a given topic.

In SEO, web pages are usually optimized for certain keywords so that the search engine considers them relevant when corresponding searching is executed. By doing so, web pages can be made to appear as high as possible in the list of results.
