Pingback

A pingback is a comment automatically created when another blog links to yours.

For example, suppose user X publishes a blog post that includes a link to user Y’s blog. A pingback is then automatically sent to user Y’s blog and a comment is generated, giving user Y the option to approve or reject it.

Note that both blogs must have pingbacks enabled for this to work.
