QR Code
« Back to Glossary Index
A QR code, or “quick response code,” is a type of two-dimensional barcode. This optical format is machine readable and can be viewed on a mobile device screen or printed on paper. The code is made up of black squares set in a white background square. These small squares define the information contained in the code.
They can be used particularly to open a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI).
