Broadly speaking, the S3 protocole is a file system. Instead of saving data in a conventional way, “objects” (such as Excel files) are saved in types of folders called “buckets”.

The S3 protocol is useful for storing data on a massive scale. This is why it was chosen for N0C Storage.
