You must retrieve the auth info transfer code (also known as the EPP code) and unlock the domain name at your current registrar. In most registrars, this option is available in their member area. Otherwise, we invite you to contact your former registrar / host to be informed about it.
You must order a domain name transfer. You can place the order when you opt for a hosting plan or via this link: https://my.planethoster.com/domains/new
To avoid any interruption in emails, we invite you to change the DNS at your current registrar for those of PlanetHoster. DNS and IP are available on your member area under the My Services> World> Portfolio option and by choosing the World account in question.
Confirm the transfer. A confirmation email will be sent to the contact address listed in the WHOIS of the domain name. To view the WHOIS here is a tool: https://whois.domaintools.com/ If confirmation is not made, PlanetHoster will not be able to proceed with the transfer. The speed of the transfer procedure depends a lot on this step. You must make sure that this email is not in your spam. If you have anonymous WHOIS, we ask that you disable it so that our automated system can transfer. You can contact your old registrar (host) about this. Some domain extensions have a different procedure to confirm the transfer (.be for example). If you are not sure of this procedure, we invite you to contact our support.
The estimated time for a domain name transfer is 1 to 10 business days. If this time is exceeded, we invite you to open a support request to our technical support department to restart the transfer. https://my.planethoster.com/my-supports/new-ticket?departement=support
