Private WHOIS in V2 is an identity protection that allows you to hide the information usually available through WHOIS servers.
It is best to acquire the private WHOIS at the time of purchasing your domain. In fact, after activation, it is possible that some WHOIS sites keep the old information in memory; unfortunately, PlanetHoster will not be able to force any changes on these sites.

How to Enable Private WHOIS
The procedure to enable the private WHOIS is very simple:
- Open the management interface of the domain in question (how).
- Click on the Disabled button so the WHOIS ID Protection be Enabled:
- To finalize the activation, you must pay the invoice. A link appears to access it.
- It takes 72 hours for the private WHOIS to be active on all WHOIS databases.
