How to Modify the DNS Servers of a BookMyName Domain to Point Towards PlanetHoster

Introduction

In some circumstances, it may be worthwhile to keep a domain registered with BookMyName, while having their DNS servers changed to point to PlanetHoster’s. This can happen, for example, when you want to host your site and mailboxes at PlanetHoster while keeping your domain name hosted with BookMyName.

In this article, we will explain how to do this.

It may take up to 24 hours for the change to be fully implemented.

How to Modify the DNS Servers

1. Connect to your BookMyName customer area.
2. Click on MANAGE.
3. Click on Change your domain names DNS.
4. Enter in the window the domain name for which you want to modify the DNS.
5. Then enter the names of the servers (2 minimum and 13 maximum) you wish to assign to the domain name.
6. Click on the Validate button.
