How to Obtain the EPP/AuthInfo Key of a Domain Registered with BookMyName for Transfer

Introduction

These steps are designed to help you transfer your domain name registered with BookMyName to your PlanetHoster customer account.

Some ccTLDs have special features that must be taken into account. Please refer to this article.

The domain name must have been created more than 61 days ago, and must not have been transferred or changed ownership during this period.

How to Obtain the EPP/AuthInfo Code

1. Log in to your BookMyName customer area.
2. Go to MANAGE.
3. Unlock your domain name:

• Select the option Lock/Unlock your domain names transfers.
• In the window for this usage, enter the domain name to transfer.
• In the drop-down list, choose domain name NOT protected, then validate your choice.

4. In MANAGE, go to Information on one of your domain names.
5. Enter the domain name for which you want to find out the authorization code.
6. We recommend that you copy and paste the code to avoid transcription errors when sending it to PlanetHoster.
