A WHOIS is a service provided by Internet domain name registrars. WHOIS allows to obtain information about the owner of the domain name or the information of an IP.
In this article, we will explain how to manage the WHOIS of a domain name with V2.
Some domain name registries do not allow you to change any information in the WHOIS. Please contact our technical support if you have any questions about this.

Editing WHOIS Information
- To activate automatic renewal, open the management interface of the domain you wish to automatically renew (how).
- In the WHOIS Info section, choose the person whose information you want to change or add: the Registrar, the Administrator, the Technician or the person responsible for Billing:
- Click on the editing icon:
- This opens the following interface:
- Now you can change the information (the checkbox Apply registrar information to all contacts on the domain is very useful if people have similar information):
- Click on the Save button when you are finished.
- Repeat for each contact as needed.
WHOIS records
You can find the WHOIS information for a domain like yours in the Internet directory records at https://whois.domaintools.com.
Private WHOIS
