Web Hosting Infrastructure at PlanetHoster
The hosting infrastructure currently offered by PlanetHoster can be represented schematically as follows:
As we can see, PlanetHoster offers two types of hosting products: The World and HybridCloud.
- The World is a shared web hosting product. The article The World: Introduction provides several details related to the features of this product.
- Unlike The World, the second product, HybridCloud, offers a dedicated server. Please refer to the article HybridCloud: Introduction, which describes its main features.
The World allows the choice of location: the possible zones are Europe or North America.
A new PlanetHoster web hosting account can only be managed through the N0C.
The Web Project
The basic unit is the Web Project. Each Web Project is a complete, independent ecosystem (1 primary domain, unlimited parked domains and subdomains, databases, and email accounts) that is strictly isolated within its own container. This allows us to highlight our key advantage: the permanent elimination of the “noisy neighbor” effect.
Each Web Project runs on a different infrastructure and is hosted in a certified data center (France, Switzerland, or Canada—your choice). This ensures performance and security.
Each Web Project is unlimited and can host as many sites as you wish. However, we recommend one Web Project per domain name for optimal isolation and outstanding performance.
Web Projects Management with N0C
A new web project on PlanetHoster can only be managed using N0C.
N0C is a modern, robust, white-label web hosting infrastructure, custom-built to meet the unique needs of web professionals (webmasters, SEO specialists, designers, etc.). It implements the latest web standards and allows for fine-grained management of all aspects of hosting while maintaining a horizontally scalable model.
On N0C, each website has its own unique space and is hosted on a different infrastructure (FR, CA, and CH).
The user interface for interacting with N0C is called the MG Panel.
